Our Story
In 2020, our family embarked on a journey to bring the authentic taste of New York-style pizza to Texas. With a passion for quality ingredients and a love for good food, we established our family-owned pizza place, Vamos. Our goal is to provide our community with the best pizza experience possible, one slice at a time.
Our Origin
Vamos Pizza Mesquite was founded by Fidel, former co-owner of Vamos Pizza Garland. After internal disputes ended the partnership, Fidel retained the rights to the name and original recipes and brought them to Mesquite. Today, Vamos Pizza Mesquite is proudly family-owned and operated, committed to quality, consistency, and great service. With a focus on authentic recipes and fresh ingredients, we continue to serve our community with the same standards that made Vamos a favorite.
Our Secrets
All of our sauces are made in-house following true Italian tradition — our marinara is slow-cooked for over 6 hours, our Alfredo is made fresh to order, and our signature Vamos (pink) sauce and meat sauce are prepared from scratch.
Our signature pizza sauce is made with a blend of fresh California tomato sauce and our own mix of herbs and spices, passed down through generations. That, along with our homemade dough, is what makes our pizza stand out.
